Can we talk about how long it took me to find a stim toy that actually works

I spent 5 months and about $80 trying out different fidget gadgets from Amazon before I realized a simple metal ring spinner works best for me. Every chewy or clicky thing just broke or annoyed me after a week. Has anyone else had this issue with wasting cash on stim toys that don't stick?
