My cousin told me his son's new school has a 'quiet hour' policy every day

He said from 1 to 2 PM, the whole building dims lights and cuts down on announcements. I see how this could help kids who get overwhelmed, but I worry it might make them stand out more from their peers. What do you think about having a set time like this versus other ways to help?

Honestly, my old office tried that and people just whispered louder.

Read a study where schools with quiet hours saw LESS bullying, not more. The routine makes it normal for everyone.

Sounds like a solid way to build it into the routine.
