That one cashier at Target who asked if I needed help bagging...
I was at the Target on 4th street last Tuesday, totally in my own world sorting cans by color, and this cashier just quietly asked if I wanted help bagging without making eye contact. It stuck with me because she didn't push or get weird when I said no, just nodded and kept scanning. Has anyone else had a stranger just... get it like that?

It's the small kindness of not making a big deal out of it that really matters. That quiet respect for your space is so rare to find. Those moments can make your whole day better.

Honestly, that would bug me a little. Tbh, it feels like they're just going through the motions and not really paying attention. If someone is clearly busy sorting their stuff, asking about bagging seems like an automatic question they have to ask. It doesn't feel that special to me.
