Serious question, why do so many B2B founders hide their pricing on their website?
I was on a call with a founder in Chicago last week who sells scheduling software to dental offices. He told me he keeps pricing behind a demo request because he is scared competitors will copy him. I get that feeling, but I think it is hurting him way more than helping. I run a small B2B tool for freight brokers myself, and when we put our three tiers right on the page, our demo requests went up 40 percent in two months. Turns out most buyers just want to know if they can afford you before they give up their email. I have talked to at least five other founders who say the same thing, yet they still hide it. So my question is, has anyone here switched to public pricing and then gone back? I would love to hear why you made that call.
