Spent $3,000 on a sales CRM tool last year and barely touched it
I fell for the hype around Close.com and bought the whole package thinking it would fix our pipeline problems. Turns out we just needed better follow-up habits, not fancy software. My team hated the interface and we were back to spreadsheets in two months. Anyone else pay big for a tool that just collected dust?

Read somewhere that most sales tools get abandoned because companies think buying software is a shortcut to building better habits. Same thing happened with my team and Trello, spent all this money upgrading when we just needed to actually use the free version we already had.

Has anyone else ever bought a fancy notebook thinking it would magically make you more organized? lol I spent like $40 on this leather bound planner once, told myself I'd finally track all my daily tasks. Ended up using it for about three days before it collected dust on my desk. My coworker still uses a free Google Sheet from 2019 and she's more put together than anyone I know with the premium apps.
