5 months is nothing, try dealing with this stuff when you actually live somewhere with real restrictions. The whole point of a VPN is to make it look like you're somewhere else, so yeah, news sites that block foreign traffic are gonna block you too. That's not the VPN being broken, that's it doing its job. If you want local news from Turkey, turn the VPN off, simple as that. Half the posts on here act like a VPN is magic and should fix every problem, when really it just changes where you appear to be, which causes just as many issues as it solves.
