My cousin in Germany mailed me a book the US publisher won't sell here

She sent me a translated novel that got pulled from US shelves over one chapter, and the paperback from Berlin cost her 14 euros. I read the whole thing in two nights trying to figure out what was so scary about it and I still don't get it. Has anyone else ordered a book from overseas just to read the part that got cut?
