Update: My friend in Singapore tried to send me a meme about their government last week

It was just a silly cartoon, but their messaging app blocked it instantly. We had to switch to a different app just to share a joke. Has anyone else had a normal chat get weirdly censored like that?

Happened to me trying to send a news link. The filter caught the headline. Makes you wonder what else gets blocked without you knowing.

Yeah that "makes you wonder" part is so true, @sarah198. I tried to paste a recipe link once and it just vanished, lol. Makes you paranoid.

Totally had this happen with a link to a funny cat video, of all things. The app just ate it up and said it was violating some rule. Makes you wonder what else is getting silently nuked in the background.
