My old neighborhood group banned me for warning about a tree service that cost me $1200
I posted the invoice and their company name after they butchered my oak, and the mods called it 'targeted harassment'. Has anyone else found a good place to post honest warnings after a ban like that?

Ever try Nextdoor? I got banned from my local Facebook group too, but I posted my review there and it actually stuck.

Oh totally, Nextdoor saved me when our neighborhood group got weird about honest reviews. I posted about that sketchy tree service that overcharges everyone, and it sparked a whole thread where five other neighbors came forward with the same bad experience. Did you get a lot of replies on your review too?

Oh man, that's so frustrating! I actually just read an article about how Nextdoor has gotten better at keeping review posts up compared to Facebook groups. The article said Facebook groups are way more likely to take down stuff like that because the mods are usually just volunteers who don't want to deal with drama. So yeah, Nextdoor sounds like a solid bet based on what I saw. Also heard that some people have luck posting on Yelp or even Google Maps reviews if you keep it factual and just state what happened without any name-calling.
