Chatting with a regular at my shop made me see fades differently
He's a teacher at the high school and mentioned how his students all want the same super sharp, high-contrast fade he gets. He said, 'It's not just a haircut, it's the one thing they feel they can control right now.' That hit different because I realized I'm not just cleaning up a neckline, I'm giving someone a bit of confidence for the week. Anyone else notice clients using their cut as a kind of personal statement lately?

Oh man, that's so true! I've had guys tell me a fresh cut makes them feel ready to tackle a tough job interview or a first date.
