Pro tip: a client who's a woodworker told me his hand plane technique is all about the angle of the blade, and it made me completely rethink how I hold my clippers.

He said 'the tool is an extension of your arm, not a separate thing you're fighting,' and now I'm getting way cleaner fades by adjusting my wrist position instead of just my elbow.

Totally! That wrist trick changed my game too.

Wait, did it actually help your shot? I tried it for a week and my form just felt way more stiff. Maybe it depends on your release point.

Yeah, my buddy who does metalwork had the same lightbulb moment. He was always fighting his angle grinder, getting these rough, wavy cuts. He heard that "extension of your arm" thing and totally changed his grip, like @willow_ellis9 said. Now he lets the tool's weight do more work, just guiding it. His cuts are way smoother, almost like they were milled. He said it stopped feeling like a fight.
