I finally bought a chain wear gauge after years of guessing

I always thought measuring chain stretch was extra work for no reason. Watching it catch a worn link before it ate my cassette totally changed my mind (honestly, felt like a win). What's one tool you waited too long to try?

My old apartment had this one specific hex key that vanished into the void. I spent months using the wrong size, just forcing it, which rounded out the bolt heads on my stem (a real mess).
