Wasted 45 minutes trying to get a seized seatpost out before I remembered to check if it was carbon.
Pulled a frame from the stand, sprayed penetrant, heated the collar, even rigged up a slide hammer, then I noticed the seatpost clamp was torqued down to 15 Nm for no reason, has anyone else gone full mechanic mode only to realize you skipped the obvious first step?

Read that carbon paste trick works better than penetrant.

Heard a buddy mention the same thing last week @ryang65, claimed it breaks rust loose way faster than any spray can stuff. Carbon paste seems to get into those tight spots where penetrant just sits on top. Might be worth a try if you have some graphite powder laying around.
