Wasted $60 on a 'universal' bike stand that couldn't hold a kids bike steady

Picked up one of those cheap folding stands on Amazon thinking itd save me some cash. First real use with a mtb and the thing wobbled so bad I nearly dropped the frame on the concrete. Anyone else had better luck with a specific budget brand or should I just save up for a Park Tool?

Nah, those cheap foldy ones are all pretty wobbly tbh.

Is it just me or does every budget stand feel like it was designed by someone who's never actually worked on a bike lol @henry_palmer24 called it perfectly, those cheap foldy ones all have the same fatal wobble. Better off saving for a Park Tool or even a Feedback Sports stand that actually clamps tight.
