Heard a friend say 'I just skip to the good parts' when talking about a new show

If you're skipping half the episodes to get to the 'good stuff', maybe that show just isn't actually binge worthy, you know?

But I kinda liked the weird ending, it made me think. Maybe it was trying something different.

Remember my buddy who kept fast forwarding through a whole season of that space drama. He said he just wanted the big fights and plot twists. Then he got totally lost and had no idea why anyone was doing anything. He missed all the stuff that made the fights matter. That's what happens when you skip, you just get empty action. I get what @wendyj24 is saying about a weird ending making you think, but you can't think about the parts you skipped. If a show needs you to skip, it failed at being a show.
