My book club nearly split over a single chapter last week
Half of us thought the main character's choice in chapter 12 was noble, the other half called it cowardly, and the debate got loud enough that the library staff asked us to keep it down. Has anyone else had a single scene cause that much friction in their group?

Chapter 12 of which book? I'm curious what the character actually did that got such strong reactions.

Nah, I actually liked that chapter. Thought it showed real growth.
