Pro tip: stop watering your succulents every week like I did for 2 years

I killed like 6 succulents before I figured this out. Friend of mine from a local nursery in Portland told me they need like a month between waterings depending on the soil. I was drowning all of them. My one surviving jade plant finally started growing after I stopped watering it so much. Anyone else make this mistake early on?

Oh wow TWO whole years? That's both hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time! Your poor succulents must have thought they were living in a swamp. Glad your jade plant finally saw the light though, those things are tough as nails.

aw man, two years is rough. i did the same thing with a fern once and felt so dumb when i finally realized what was up. at least your jade plant's a trooper though, those things can survive anything lol.
