inPSA: started testing defrost heaters with a multimeter first and it saved me a callback in Mesa
Used to pull boards first. Not anymore after getting burned.

inJust figured out why my 3 year old Xbox account got permabanned: I used the same recovery email on a second account
Yikes, that Manchester guy basically did more work on your ban than Microsoft support did. Meanwhile my dumb self once used the same email on two accounts and just sat there wondering why everything felt off for weeks. Lesson learned the hard way, keep your emails separate unless you want the ban hammer to find you.

inWatched a finisher pull a slab too early on a 40x60 in Wichita, crack ran 18 feet by lunch
Buddy of mine had the same deal on a warehouse pad in KC, GC rushed him and the bleed water was still pooling when they got the trowel out. He ended up with map cracking all over one bay and the owner wanted the whole thing ground down to look pretty. What he did instead was let it sit a full week, then came back with a walk behind grinder and just hit the cracks themselves, opened them up into little V grooves. Then he filled them with a semi rigid epoxy and ground it flat after it cured. Talked the owner into a shake on hardener over the whole thing so it all matched and you could barely tell by the time he was done. Not saying its as good as a pour without the screw up, but it held up fine for years and they never had to tear it out. Grinding the whole slab flat will just make it look worse and cost a fortune, so try to sell them on crack repair and a topping instead.
