Shoutout to the time I used a hairdryer to pollinate my indoor lemon tree in my Chicago apartment last winter
The tree was flowering like crazy but there were zero bees around. I read about hand pollination with a brush, but I was out of small paintbrushes. In a moment of pure desperation, I grabbed my wife's hairdryer, set it on the coolest setting, and gently blew air across the blossoms for about two minutes each morning. It felt completely ridiculous, but guess what? I got three actual lemons from it. Has anyone else tried a weird hack that actually got results?
