Took me three whole afternoons to figure out why my monstera kept drooping, turns out it was just rootbound

Wait, are we sure it was actually rootbound though? Sometimes when people repot too early or upsize too fast, the soil stays wet too long and causes more droop from rot. Did you check for mushy stems or smell anything funky?

My philodendron did the same thing last spring and I swear it took me like a week to figure it out. I was checking the soil moisture with a wooden chopstick like a crazy person, moving it to different spots in my apartment, even bought a humidifier for it lmao. Then I finally pulled it out of the pot and the roots were literally wrapped around the bottom like a ball of spaghetti. Put it in a pot two inches bigger and now it's pushing out new leaves every other week lol.
