Old school EEG caps vs dry electrodes - which side are you on?

I used to spend 30 minutes prepping gel electrodes for my BCI experiments, getting gel in my hair and all that. Switched to a dry electrode headband last year and now I can get readings in 2 minutes flat. But some folks say the dry ones miss lower frequency signals that gel caps catch. Has anyone else tried both and noticed a real difference in accuracy for motor imagery tasks?

My lab coat still has dried electrode gel stains from 2018 that I swear are becoming permanent. I switched to dry electrodes for my motor imagery work and honestly the signal quality tradeoff was worth not having to wash my hair before every department meeting. If anyone is getting perfect low frequency readings with a dry setup I'm jealous and also a little suspicious.

Dry caps work great here. Signal is clean enough for our setup.
