Vent: That $200 Emotiv headset was a total waste
Bought one 8 months ago thinking I'd use it for gaming. It barely reads my brain signals right half the time, just gave me headaches. Anyone else get scammed by these overhyped consumer BCIs?

Consumer tech companies keep doing this - promise the world, deliver something that barely works (like those "smart" water bottles that need an app to tell you to drink). They bank on people buying into the hype instead of waiting for real reviews.
