Wasted $300 on that 'brain training' headband that claimed to boost focus

I saw an ad for some neurofeedback headband last spring and thought it would help me concentrate on estimating roofing jobs (which I always procrastinate on). Paid $300 bucks for the thing, wore it for maybe 10 sessions over two weeks. It just buzzed a little and showed graphs on an app that looked random. No difference in my work focus at all. Felt like a total gimmick. Return window was only 14 days so I was stuck with it. Anybody else try one of those consumer EEG gadgets and get burned?

Maybe it's just me but 300 bucks for a headband that buzzes sounds like a total racket.

@beth_hart68 you're telling me, I saw that thing for like $400 at one point and people actually paid that? Just buzzing on your forehead while you stare at a screen, no way that helps you focus on anything real. These companies really know how to take people's money.
