Guys, stop buying the fancy laser levels, my $30 string line beats them

Paid $180 for a rotary laser in Nashville last month and it slowed me down on a garden wall job. The thing needs batteries, calibration, and a clear line of sight, while my old string line just works in any weather. Anyone else ditch the tech and go back to basics on small residential work?
