Tried tuckpointing a whole wall without grinding out the joints first in Philly last week
Joint was too shallow and the mortar fell out in chunks after 2 days. Had to chip it all out and start over, cost me an extra 5 hours. Anybody else learn this lesson the hard way?

Yeah I used to think you could get away with skipping that step. That messy redo definitely changed my mind real quick.

Patriciam22 I'm basically a pro at this point. Have a whole collection of embarrassing moments. Laughing at yourself is the only way to survive. My life is basically a blooper reel at this point.
