Wasted $60 on a fancy spice blend that was just salt and paprika

I bought this 'gourmet taco seasoning' from a local market last week for $6 a packet. Got home and tasted it, it was basically salt, paprika, and a tiny bit of cumin. I used it on one batch of ground beef and it was bland as heck. Then I checked the ingredients online and it was like 80% salt. Felt like a total rip off, I could have made my own for like 50 cents. Has anyone else fallen for overpriced spice mixes that barely do anything?

Go easy on them, it's just $6... you probably spent more on the gas driving to the market. I mean yeah it's annoying when something is mostly salt but it's not like they robbed you blind or anything. People on here act like getting ripped off for a taco seasoning packet is some huge betrayal. Just shake a little extra cumin in next time and move on.

Nah... six bucks is six bucks. That's like a whole meal at the right place. If I pay for something that's supposed to have flavor and it's just salt, that's not about the money, it's about someone not giving a damn about what they're selling.
