Cable service was eating my lunch every month

I finally dropped Spectrum after 4 years of paying $85 a month for internet. Switched to T-Mobile home internet for $50 flat. No hidden fees, no contract. Speed is actually faster than what I was getting. Has anyone else cut that cord and seen real savings?

Wait, isn't it crazy how we just accept certain bills without thinking? I had the same thing with my cell phone plan a few years back - was paying Verizon $90 a month for data I barely used. Finally switched to a prepaid plan for $35 and honestly havent noticed a difference. It really makes you step back and look at everything else you're paying for. Like my gym membership I never use, or those subscription boxes I forgot to cancel. Feels good to take control of that stuff.

People don't realize how much those little monthly bills add up until you actually stop them. Makes you wonder what else we're just paying for out of habit.
