I finally saw a real-time inventory system in action at a brewery tour in Asheville
I was on a tour of a small craft brewery last month, and the owner showed us their new digital dashboard. It tracked everything from grain stock to kegs out for delivery, updating every 15 minutes. He said it cut their weekly stock-check time from about 8 hours down to 30 minutes. It made me realize our own warehouse still does manual counts on clipboards every Friday. Has anyone switched to a live system for something like parts or supplies and had it actually work without being a headache?
