My accountant's spreadsheet had a formula error that cost me $1,200 last quarter

I was reviewing my Q2 numbers and noticed our inventory costs were way off. Turns out my accountant used SUM instead of SUMIF for a key column, which double-counted $1,200 in raw materials. How often do you guys catch simple spreadsheet mistakes that mess up your whole ops budget?

Figured I'd never be one to double-check a professional's work. Then a similar thing happened with my logistics spreadsheet, off by about $800 just from a bad filter. Changed my mind real quick, now I spot check everything after the fact.
