Warehouse manager told me to stop reorganizing the pick bins every week
Worked at a fulfillment center in Phoenix for 8 months. My supervisor pulled me aside and said I was costing the team 15 minutes per shift just from relearning locations. Has anyone else had a manager push back on process improvements you thought were helpful?

That "15 minutes per shift" figure sounds small but when you multiply it by the crew it adds up fast. What nobody is talking about is how warehouse picking is built around muscle memory, not just knowing where things are.

Right, muscle memory is such a huge part of the job that people totally forget about.
