Spent $40 on a JIS screwdriver set and it saved my Minolta X-700
Took a chance on a cheap JIS set from Amazon after stripping two screws on a shutter assembly, and now I swear by them for any Japanese gear, anyone else ditch Phillips for these?

Yeah once I switched to JIS bits my stripped screw problems basically vanished, the fit is just way more precise on Japanese fasteners.
