That time a mod removed my post about vaccine side effects and I actually agreed with them later
I was ranting on a health forum about getting a weird reaction from the flu shot last year, stiff arm for 3 days. Mod deleted it saying it was 'unverified medical claims' and I was so mad I nearly typed up a whole complaint. But then I went back and read the rules - they had a whole system for reporting side effects through official channels, not random forums. I still think they could have been nicer about it, but honestly that specific post was just me whining, not helping anyone. Has anyone else had a mod action that pissed you off at first but actually made sense looking back?

Read a study a while back that said forum people are way more loyal to brands than regular folks. Makes sense too, because you're putting in the time to talk about it with strangers, so you've got a personal stake in it feeling worth it. I think that kind of community thing can really twist how people see problems too, like they defend a brand even when it clearly messed up. Your mileage may vary, but I've seen it in a few different hobby forums over the years. It's almost like a club you don't want to admit you joined.
