Shoutout to the Milwaukee M12 inspection camera for saving my hide in a tight spot last month

I was inspecting a flue in an old brick house in Savannah and the camera head got completely stuck on a broken tile liner about 15 feet up. I had to carefully feed more cable down to loop it and pull it free, which took almost an hour. Anyone have a better method for retrieving a snagged camera without risking a full dislodge?

My buddy lost a camera in a duct for three days before we fished it out with a magnet.

Wait, it was in there for three whole days? How did you even know where to look for it in the ductwork? I'd be so sure it was gone forever after like an hour. That magnet trick is genius though, gotta remember that.
