Dropped $600 on a Chinese language immersion program in Chengdu and it backfired hard
I paid for a 4 week homestay with a local family to learn Mandarin, but they only spoke their dialect and I ended up more confused than when I started. Anyone else waste money on a program that didn't deliver what it promised?
