I finally hit 500 flawless parts on my Haas VF-2 this shift. Does perfection matter more than speed?

Perfection matters more than speed" - says someone who hasn't seen me miss a tool change by 0.001" and then pretend it was intentional. Congrats on the 500 though, that's way more clean parts than I've ever managed in one go.

oh no way, @taraw16, you're totally right about the tool change thing, lol. but i gotta say, "perfection" is a stretch when you're working with tenths of an inch - 0.001" is basically a hair width, so you're probably closer to perfect than you think.
