I finally switched from just reading Python books to doing the 100 Days of Code challenge
For months, I was stuck on page 50 of a big textbook, but I wasn't really getting it. Then I started the 100 Days of Code plan and built a small weather app in week 3. Actually making something, even with help, made the ideas click way faster than just reading about loops. Anyone else find that a project-based plan worked better for them at the start?

I spent way too long trying to learn JavaScript from free online courses without building anything. The moment I followed a tutorial to make a simple to-do list, everything about functions and event listeners just made sense. It's like you need to see the code actually do something to get it. I'm so glad I switched to project based learning too, it saved me from quitting. That weather app sounds awesome, by the way!

Wait you were on page 50 of a textbook for MONTHS? That's brutal, I would have given up.
