Just realized my old foreman was right about labeling every single wire

Yeah, like that time Terry mentioned. I had to trace a neutral from a multi wire branch circuit that was shared. The label on the white wire had the panel and circuit right there, so I knew exactly which breaker to turn off. It kept me from shutting down half the floor to be safe.

That one job where the customer's 'simple upgrade' turned into a full system rebuild

Ugh, tell me about it. Always get three quotes first.

Pro tip: a piece of clear tape saved a wedding bouquet from wilting in the heat

But @singh.uma is it really worth all that work for just a few extra hours?

A client in Montana told me my shoe fit was 'lazy' and it stung, but he was right.

Man, isn't it wild how a little criticism can totally flip your view? I used to be so sure a wider fit was always more comfortable for the horse, no question. But I had a similar thing happen where a trainer pointed out I was letting the toes get too long, thinking it gave a better breakover. Seeing the horse move better after I fixed it was a real eye-opener. It's hard to hear at first, but man, it makes you a better trimmer.

My daily coffee pic habit made the routine more fun

My grandma used to save the little foil seals from her instant coffee jars. She had a whole drawer full, sorted by color. I started doing it with my tea bags, the little paper tags. It’s not about the stuff, it’s about marking that you were there, fully, for a minute. My drawer is a quiet record of thousands of mornings I actually noticed.
