That protestor screamed over Dr. Peterson at UT Austin last spring and the admin just stood there.
I was sitting third row when a girl ran on stage and grabbed the mic before security moved, and now I always check the event's security plan before buying tickets to any campus talk.

Four cops were already in the room that day and still did nothing, but your call to check security plans is just paranoia in my view.

That's a really heavy point you're making, and honestly it hits hard. It's frustrating to see people dismiss concerns when there's clear evidence of failure right in front of us. Four officers present and nothing changed, that's not just a problem that's a total breakdown. It makes you wonder what even counts as enough security if trained professionals with a direct line to help don't act. Saying it's paranoia feels like a way to avoid dealing with something uncomfortable, but the discomfort is exactly what needs to be looked at. Solidarity on this one, man.
