Doesn't this same argument pop up every time an old show gets a new version? Fans of the original often complain, while others enjoy the fresh take! It's just how people are when things they know get changed.

Noticed some remake complaints actually have a point about rushed writing or weak characters. It's not always blind nostalgia, sometimes the new version just misses what made the story work. I mean both sides can be right, a show can change too much while also finding a new audience.
