inMy air fryer Brussels sprouts took forever to crisp up last night
My grandma always swore by salting veggies before roasting to pull out moisture. She'd slice zucchini, sprinkle salt, and let it sit for an hour before baking. They came out super crispy without much oil, kinda like your trick. I tried it with potatoes once and totally burned them because I forgot to rinse the salt off. Now I just use a towel like you said, way less hassle.

inLocal vote kept encryption safe, but my coffee group thinks it's a mistake
Honestly though, how often does that actually happen to regular people? Feels like we're always told to panic about hackers, but my info's been out there for years and nothing bad occurred. Sure, maybe for huge companies it matters, but for my emails and stuff it seems overblown. The whole postcard thing is a scary picture, but I doubt anyone is actually reading my boring chats. It just gets tiring hearing we're all one weak lock away from disaster.

Are they considering how much this cuts long-term MAINTENANCE budgets too?

inMy mom's school conspiracy rants have me shrugging.
Have you seen how even basic news reports get spun into wild theories? @willow_ellis9, you hit on something real there. People will take a simple mistake, like a missed comma, and build a whole story about it being a sign. It feels like we're losing the ability to just let things BE normal.

inUpdate: Masking fluid keeps damaging my watercolor paper
Yeah cooper.kai saying they were "putting it on way too thick, like painting it on" totally flipped my view. I used to blame the brand of fluid or just accept some paper loss as normal. I'd slather it on trying to make absolutely sure it sealed. Watched a demo last year where the artist just tapped it on, barely a layer, and it hit me. I was basically gluing the paper shut. Now I dab it, it looks almost spotty, and it comes up like a sticker. Changed everything.
