Just logged my 500th hour on a single salvage job and everyone says that's crazy, but honestly it felt normal to me.

Read an article about flow state, that deep focus where time just vanishes. Sounds like you hit that zone hard on the salvage job. Makes total sense it wouldn't feel like a grind.

Totally, getting into that zone makes any job way better. The trick is to cut out all the dumb little distractions that pull you out of it. Once you get a few hours of that real focus, the day just flies by.
