Had my doubts about the power trowel blades from Harbor Freight

I was running a 900 square foot garage floor in Denver last Tuesday and my usual brand was out of stock, so I grabbed a pack of their 48 inch combo blades on a whim. Figured they'd wear down in twenty minutes, but they actually held up through the whole pour and left a finish that surprised me. Has anyone else found a decent cheap blade that doesn't fall apart or am I just getting lucky?

Oh man, same here! I grabbed a set for a small driveway job last month and they actually finished smooth as glass, totally didn't expect that from their price tag.

Hold on now, I had a TOTALLY different experience with those - picked some up for a basic patio and they were a nightmare to finish, left these ugly roller marks everywhere that took forever to sand out. Maybe you got lucky or I got a bad batch, but I'd never trust that brand again.
