Rant: My $300 magnesium float was a total game-changer for getting that perfect cream finish.

I fought with cheaper aluminum floats for years, but this one glides like butter and leaves zero marks, so has anyone else made a tool upgrade that actually lived up to the hype?

Oh man, I get that... I used a cheap plastic mixing paddle for paint for way too long. Finally got a good metal one with the right shape, and it just... mixes everything so smooth and fast with no bubbles. It's one of those things you don't realize is holding you back until you try the right tool. Totally worth the extra money for how much time and frustration it saves.
