I finally picked air-dry over blow-dry styling for my clients last month

I had to choose between offering a full blowout service or teaching my clients how to work with air-dry products because my appointment slots were getting crushed. I went with air-dry because it saves me 20 minutes per client and lets me book one more person per shift. Has anyone else swapped out a traditional service for something faster and seen their booking numbers jump?

Twenty minutes per client saved? That's a massive chunk of time to get back in a busy day! I can see how that would let you squeeze in that extra appointment without burning yourself out. Your clients must be pretty happy to learn a faster routine too.

@mia_singh24 exactly right, my burnout was getting real before I switched. My arms were basically screaming at me after every blowout, so air-dry was honestly a no-brainer even if it meant I occasionally look like a fool demonstrating a product routine with wet hair dripping down my face. The extra slot per shift adds up fast though, I squeezed three more clients in last week alone. Any of you ever swap a service out of pure survival mode?
