Funeral selfies went from shocking to normal in 5 years, here's the shift I saw in Manila
Honestly, I used to cringe when relatives snapped photos at my lola's wake back in 2017. Fast forward to my cousin's funeral last March in Manila, and half the room was posting live stories with the coffin in frame. It's not disrespect anymore, it's how people process grief now, even my 70 year old tita asked for a group pic with the flowers. Has anyone else noticed their own family's rules around death rituals loosening this fast?

Your 70 year old tita asked for a GROUP PIC? That's wild.
