In 2019 my email list did 4x the sales of my Facebook ads, and I keep thinking about that week
I remember sitting in a Starbucks in Austin watching a $200 email blast outsell a $2k ad campaign, and it felt like the ground moved. Now everyone I know is chasing short form video and the list sits untouched, does anyone still get real money from email or did we all just move on?

Remember when everyone said blogging was dead and then it turned out people just got bored of it, not that it stopped working? Same thing here. Email is the one channel where you actually own the audience instead of renting it from an algo that can change overnight. I still make most of my money from a boring weekly email while my reels get like 200 views lol. The list never stopped working, people just stopped showing up for it.
