Just figured out that coworking memberships in Chiang Mai dropped to $80 a month if you go through local Thai booking sites
I was paying $150 through the usual English-friendly platforms until a barista at a café told me to check the Thai version of the site. Has anyone else found a similar trick for saving on workspace costs in other digital nomad hubs?

Hold up though, $80 still seems high when you can just work from a cafe or the hostel common area for the price of a coffee. Plenty of digital nomads I know in Bali just buy a smoothie every few hours and get by fine without a dedicated desk. I get that some people need quiet space for calls or deep focus, but paying for a membership just to sit in a different room with wifi feels like a waste when the whole city is your office. What about the noise and the commute time added on top of that monthly fee?

Right? I get that. Cafe hopping can totally work if you're chill about it. Commute time really adds up though, that's a hidden cost people forget about.
