PSA: Your caulk gun is not a glue dispenser, people

I watched my buddy try to use a standard caulk gun for wood glue on a birdhouse and it was a sticky, lumpy mess, lol. Anyone got a better cheap tool for that job?

Yeah, that ketchup bottle trick is solid. I just use an old plastic mustard bottle myself.

Oh man, I saw a woodworking video where they just used a cheap plastic ketchup bottle. Squeeze the glue in, snip the tip, and it gives way more control than a caulk gun for stuff like that.

That ketchup bottle idea from @nathan545 is a lifesaver. I tried the caulk gun thing once and ended up with more glue on my hands than the project, it was a total disaster. An old dish soap bottle with a pointy tip works just as well for me.
