A senior drafter told me to always print my first revision on paper
He said you'll catch errors on a physical sheet that you miss on the screen, and he was right. Last week, I spotted a missing dimension on a printed shop drawing that I'd overlooked for three digital reviews. Do you still print things out for a final check, or is that just old-school now?

Oh man, that's so true. I read a study once that said our brains process information differently on paper versus a screen, something about spatial memory. It's not just being old-school, there's real science behind catching typos and errors with a pen in your hand. I still print out anything important for a final pass.

Wait, you still have a printer? I gave mine away years ago because the ink cost more than my first car. I believe the science about paper versus screens, but actually printing things feels like such a luxury now. I just can't justify the cost for a final edit.
