Learned a trick to clear cutterhead clogs way faster

Been running a job on the Mississippi River near Baton Rouge and kept getting clogs in the cutterhead every 2 hours. Last Tuesday I tried reversing the swing angle while backing off the ladder about 3 feet instead of just pulling it up. Totally cleared the debris in under a minute without even stopping the pump. Anyone else got a go-to method for stubborn clogs?

Used to think reversing was a waste of time but tried it last month and it saved me a ton of downtime. Definitely changed how I handle those clogs now.

Reversing the swing angle works. I do that exact trick on my machine.
